October 28, 2025
The Kinderland Sports Fiesta 2025 was a spectacular celebration of fitness, fun, and family bonding — and Crestar Learning Centre was thrilled to be part of the excitement with our high-energy KPop Dance Jam segment!
Held on 11 October 2025, Saturday, at the Singapore Institute of Management, the event brought together children, parents, and educators.

The event was graced by Olympic gold medallist and Kinderland alumnus Joseph Schooling. He now mentors young children through his swim school, inspiring them to chase their dreams.
A Day of Fitness and Fun
The Sports Fiesta featured a variety of engaging activities, including relay games, family challenges and a dance jam. These activities promoted active lifestyles and strengthened parent-child bonds.
The event also celebrated Kinderland’s commitment to fitness and holistic education. Crestar Learning Centre shares this belief- with our Dance programmes nurturing physical, emotional, and social development.

KPop Parent-Child Jam: Dancing to “Soda Pop”
Crestar Learning Centre’s Dance Jam segment stole the spotlight as Kinderland and ELFA Preschool K1 and K2 children — and their parents — grooved together to the upbeat track “Soda Pop,” a popular hit from the Netflix sensation KPop Demon Hunters. Led by our energetic Hip Hop/ KPop dance teacher Ms Phoebe, the session blended catchy choreography with playful energy.

Parents danced alongside their children, turning the session into a joyful celebration of rhythm, coordination, and connection. Beyond the fun, the activity nurtured confidence and motor skills, proving that dance is more than just entertainment — it’s a developmental activity for children of all ages.
Crestar School of Dance: Where Passion Meets Excellence

Hip Hop at Crestar School of Dance: Building Confidence and Winning Titles
Hip Hop is one of our most popular programmes, offering children a dynamic way to express themselves while building strength, agility, and confidence. Our Hip Hop Performance Crew (HHPC) is a testament to the quality of our training — they have clinched top accolades in prestigious competitions, including the recent Singapore Challenge Cup Dance Competition 2025 and Get The Beat Competition 2025.

Beyond competitions, our students enjoy many opportunities to perform at community and national events, such as when our HHPC Junior Team performed at the Paya Lebar SG60 National Day Dinner in August earlier this year. These experiences help children build stage confidence and a sense of pride in their achievements.

Why Dance Is Great For Children
Dance isn’t just about moving to music — it’s about building skills that last a lifetime. At the Sports Fiesta, our KPop Jam demonstrated how dance can boost fitness, sharpen coordination, and foster teamwork, all while keeping the children engaged and happy.
We are proud to have contributed to the 2025 Kinderland’s Sports Fiesta and to share the joy of dance with so many young learners. Here’s to more opportunities to move, groove, and grow together!
